The Perfect Creative Cocktail

Some days just start right. You know the recipe:

  • The right inspiration ✓
  • A killer playlist ✓
  • Blessed solitude ✓

Result? Productive work that actually makes you proud. Just wrapped up some pieces for an upcoming project (stay tuned - it'll air soon!)

Studio56: Where Bad Jokes Meet Good Art

Studio life lesson #1: You never run out of two things in an animation studio - work and terrible jokes.

Case in point: Picture this. Old Hindi songs playing in the background. The lyrics go "Hum aap akele ho" (you and me should be alone). What do I hear? "Aap hum aur kele ho" (you, me, and bananas should be there).

Hey, nobody said artists had to be good comedians.

Weekend Snapshots

The last few weekends have been a story in themselves:Me, embracing the art of professional nappingMom and I, floating under an umbrella in Mumbai's rain (because sometimes life needs a little whimsy)

Sometimes the best illustrations are the ones we live rather than draw.

  • Color Stories: Emotions in Palette

    Recently explored some themed illustrations:

"Unprepared" - When your art supplies are more organized than your life

"In a Dark Place" - Sometimes the best art comes from the shadows
"Feeling Blue" - Because why just feel blue when you can paint it?
"Summer Time" - When the colors are as hot as the weather
"Ornamentation" - Details, details, details!
