3D sketchbook: My Journey Through Digital Sculpting and NFTs

In the summer of 2006, I first dipped my toes into the world of 3D modeling with Maya 7. Back then, I dreamed of creating elaborate sets and models like those in Lord of the Rings. While I'm glad my career took a different path, I never fully explored the potential of 3D art. Over the years, I've dabbled in various projects, but it's only now that I've decided to embark on a dedicated journey into the realm of 3D illustration.

This blog post marks the beginning of that journey. I'll share my first 6 illustrations, By maintaining this blog, I'm holding myself accountable and inviting you to join me on this adventure.

A Window to My Mind Theme:

Boolean Operations This piece explores the concept of Boolean operations in 3D modeling. I used these techniques to create a window-like effect, offering a glimpse into my creative process.

A peaceful day in the woods

A Peaceful Day in the Woods Themes: Loft and Metaball For this serene forest scene, I utilized the loft technique to create the arms and metaball for the trees, resulting in a dreamy, organic feel.

This playful environment showcases an unexpected use of the metaball technique. What appears to be a beautiful bush is actually a "happy accident" from metaball gone awry.

4. Warm me

You warm me, I warm you. Ok?
Glass Materials Exploring the interplay of light and warmth, this illustration uses glass materials to create a pulsing glow effect.

5. See you through a curved light.

This piece plays with perception and light distortion. I've included some color variations to showcase the versatility of the concept.

6. Dvck Crystal-  Jumping on the abstract illustration trend, this piece represents my foray into more non-representational 3D art.

Below is the final artwork. It can be collected with tezos.  Here is a link to all my collectible artworks

As I continue this journey, I'm excited to see how these explorations in 3D art will influence my creative process and career. Each piece is a learning experience, pushing me to try new techniques and expand my artistic boundaries.
