The style lingers from last Inktober - thick, black blocks where outlines emerge from negative space. Each piece carries its own story, its own memory.

Recent Works
The first piece was created for Evan - a captured moment of him and his wife dancing, now preserved behind a frame. It's interesting how a photograph of a painting being framed adds another layer of permanence to the memory.
To my future self reading this (because let's be honest, you're probably the only one who visits this blog): RAINBOOTS. The image below should trigger that memory. You know what it means.
Then there's "Haldi_bit_chicklet" - a phrase as enigmatic to her as it is to me. Some art defies explanation, existing in that space between meaning and mystery.
The third piece is for Egon's girl. The fourth exists in two forms - original and digital, specifically designed for print. You can find it in my Etsy shop (CaiCandy) if you're interested.
The latest piece explores the human form underwater, maintaining the same stark style of negative space. The body becomes abstract under the surface, playing with the boundaries between form and void.
Note: The picky artist referenced here? Future me, you know exactly who that is.
