Illustration XVII : Hampi love in a holy Place

In the magical ruins of Hampi, each boulder seemed to whisper stories, and every sunset painted new possibilities. This collection of illustrations captures moments from a transformative journey that left me with what I can only describe as a Murakami-esque hangover.

The Leap of Faith

An underwater moment captured: lovers cliff-jumping from Hampi's ancient boulders. He's already submerged, while she's creating that first dramatic splash.

This piece emerged during a time when Amber Run's "I Found" became my emotional soundtrack:

"I'll use you as a warning sign That if you talk enough sense then you'll lose your mind I'll use you as a focal point So I don't lose sight of what I want

I've moved further than I thought I could But I miss you more than I thought I would I'll use you as a warning sign That if you talk enough sense then you'll lose your mind

I'll use you as a makeshift gauge Of how much to give and how much to take I'll use you as a warning sign That if you talk enough sense then you'll lose your mind

I found love where it wasn't supposed to be Right in front of me Talk some sense to me"

New Year's Vigil

Perched on ancient boulders, a group of friends waiting for the year to turn. We gathered at our camp, suspended between time and stone, each of us holding our own hopes for the coming year.

Divine Ruins

The fallen kingdom of Hampi sparked this piece. Here, the landscape reads like a surreal collage - gods and humans frozen in stone, their stories bleeding into each other. The ruins speak of both grandeur and humility, power and its inevitable decline.

Midnight Elephant

Inspired by evening walks through the village, this piece captures a blue elephant wading through milk-like waters under a star-studded sky. The surreal meets the sacred in Hampi's twilight hours.

Self in Blue

A self-portrait born from feeling touched by holiness in this ancient space. I painted myself in blue, channeling the divine hues of Indian mythology, reflecting the spiritual saturation of this place.

This journey through Hampi left me with what feels like a literary hangover, reminiscent of Murakami's characters who emerge from their adventures slightly altered, carrying new mysteries within them.
