My Creative Journey: Illustrations from NID's 3rd Semester

Hey there! I'm a third-semester student at the National Institute of Design, and I wanted to share some of my recent work and experiences.

It's been an incredible semester so far, and I can't wait to see what else I'll create.

Tales from India.

Charcoal Magic We recently had an amazing workshop with R.L. Mistry on charcoal techniques. It was intimidating at first, but I gave it my best shot. Here's my attempt:
I'm still learning, but it's exciting to see my progress!

Mythological Marvels Our illustration course has been diving deep into Indian mythology. I created these two pieces that I'm pretty proud of:
"Hanuman's Departure from Lanka"

"Abhimanyu in the Chakravyuh"

I loved bringing these epic stories to life through my art.

Twisting the Classics One of our assignments was to take a famous artwork and give it a modern twist or turn it into a PSA. I chose Michelangelo's "Creation of Adam" and... well, see for yourself:

It took me a whole day to recreate the original, but adding that little twist was so much fun!

Home Sweet Home
We also had to illustrate our home cities. As a Pune kid, here's my tribute to my hometown:

this was a assignment in my Illustration course where I had to illustrate my home city "PUNE"

I tried to make a caricature of Ms.Catrinel Dunca. She is taking our SLA class(Introduction to narrative class).
